Giants in the Forest started in 2012 but really took off as part of the Year of Natural Scotland 2013. This was an opportunity to get outside, and create a massive, sympathetic, environmental sculpture.
From tying a thread round trees, to creating giant paper flower beds, The Giants have touched so many people here in Scotland as well as two other projects – in Devon and also North Wales.
Giants in the Forest was, and still is all about getting outdoors and experiencing Scotland’s most amazing wilderness.
