We had a lovely day with CatStrand and some of the local primary schools in Galloway Forest planting and rigging up the heads. The heads were planted with a variety of plants from primroses to Honeysuckle along with mosses and lichens from the forest floor. One was even named ‘Hairy Tony’ after his full covering of moss!
Have a look out for the heads next time you go fro a walk or have a picnic. We would love to see what they start to look like over the next few months; take a photo and post it on here if you pay them a visit!
